What We Believe

It's not something to endlessly debate, but something to passionately live.

At Redemption, we rest in the historic Christian faith founded upon the Bible and taught by the apostles and early church. We hold to the core teachings of the Reformation and embrace contemporary expressions of worship.  We exist to equip and encourage people in all areas of life to live Kingdom First every day of every week of every year.

We believe that life is amazing, but can also be amazingly hard; that relationships bring great beauty, but can also be beautifully messy. We believe that everyone has issues, but God can take whatever our past or present may be and bring about good and love and truth and life. We are real people with real lives who serve a real God that accepts us as we are, and will never stop working to make us all that He calls us to be.

We believe God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth

We believe in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord. He was conceieved by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church The communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
