Every year churches all over the world participate in a very special week that reflects deeply upon the final week of the life of Jesus. Through 4 services, we see the pain and anguish along with the love and grace of our Lord. We invite you to join us as we walk the path of Jesus from his entrance to Jerusalem to his resurrection on Easter.
Palm Sunday (3/20)
10:00 am at Pink Elementary School in Frisco, this service celebrates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem the week before his death. It includes a special reading of the passion narrative in Luke's gospel (Luke 22:39-23:43). Come here this amazing and challenging text read in its entirety as we prepare our hearts for Holy Week.
Maundy Thursday (3/24)
7:00 pm at Chapel Ana Villa where we explore the final night of the life of Jesus. One of the darkest, yet most profound services of the year, Maundy Thursday helps us come to a greater understanding of that final night before his death.
Biblical Stations of the Cross (3/25)
At Beaver's Bend Park in Frisco ,the stations will be available for self-guided tours beginning at 10:30 am and lasting until 7:30 pm. At 12:15 pm and 6:30 pm Fr. Jason+ will lead groups through the stations with individuals carrying the cross from station to station. This year we are doing the Biblical Stations of the Cross, which differ from the traditional stations in that all 14 of them come directly from scripture. Join us for this powerful time of walking in the footsteps of Jesus, reflecting upon his sacrifice and opening our hearts to the work of the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, come just enjoy these amazing works of the art. Even if you have no religious affiliation, the artwork is worth coming out to experience.
Easter Sunday (3/27)
10 am Pink Elementary School in Frisco we will celebrate together the greatest moment in human history: the victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death through his resurrection! This joyful day will offer great inspiration as we explore the beauty and power of the resurrection. There is childcare available up to 5 years, but those older we encourage to join their families for this day to worship together.
